How to… schedule a Facebook post [desktop]
Scheduling posts on your Facebook page used to be quite tricky, but following some recent changes it’s now really simple using the desktop website! You can now schedule posts up to six months in advance.
Here’s how you do it!
- Write your post
- Click on the little downward arrow on the Post button and select Schedule Post
- Choose your date at time and hit schedule (note it must be at least ten minutes from the time of writing)
- Once you’ve scheduled your post you can review it from your timeline
- By clicking see post you can review, edit, publish, or delete the post.
Or you can just leave it and it’ll publish when you want it to go.
You can also use this method to backdate your posts to record significant events in the past.
